YCT Endorses Governor Rick Perry

(Austin, TX) The Young Conservatives of Texas (YCT), a non-partisan grassroots political organization, announce their endorsement of Governor Rick Perry for the 2010 Republican Primary.

"Governor Rick Perry has helped make Texas the leader in job growth and development.  As college students who are getting ready to enter the job market, the Young Conservatives of Texas are proud to rally our support behind a Governor who brings jobs to Texas and spreads the positive message about our great state.  Governor Perry is a proven conservative who is willing to stand up for values," said Tony McDonald, Vice Chairman of Legislative Affairs.

YCT, founded in 1980, issues the most recognized ratings of the state legislature and is the only conservative group to have done so without interruption over the last 15 sessions.  The organization has chapters at universities across the state of Texas.
