Young Conservatives of Texas Elect Julia Crusius State Chair
DALLAS, TEXAS–On Sunday, the Young Conservatives of Texas Association unanimously elected Julia Crusius to serve as the 27th State Chair of the Young Conservatives of Texas Association. As State Chair, Julia will lead the Association board. Julia’s ascension to state chair received praise from many high level conservatives including Representative Chip Roy, former State Senator Konni Burton, and the Texas Freedom Caucus. Julia is the first graduate of Trinity University to serve as State Chair since David Guenthner.

About Julia Crusius
Julia brings with her a wealth of political and legislative experience and is highly respected for her work on school choice and education freedom. She currently serves as a Legislative Fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation where she focuses on education and health care policy. Previously, Julia worked in the policy shops for leading Texas conservatives Chip Roy and Mayes Middleton and interned at the Reason Foundation and Texas Public Policy Foundation. Julia is a longtime member of the Young Conservatives of Texas having joined her chapter as a freshman and served as the chapter chair during the 2019-2020 school year. Julia has worked extensively on legislative ratings and endorsements for the association. Julia graduated from Trinity University with a degree in economics and public policy.
