Nate Dunning is a passionate conservative leader who embarked on his journey with YCT by founding the YCT chapter at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Mikel Moore
Senior Vice Chairman
Mikel Moore is the Vice-Chairman of Chapter Development for the Young Conservatives of Texas. In this role, he assists new and existing chapters in executing activism projects, utilizing available resources, and growing their voice on campus. He previously served as the Chapter Chairman at the University of Houston. His efforts established a strong network of conservative students and demonstrated the pathway to success for chapters across the state. Mikel is currently a 3L at the University of Houston Law Center. Prior to his pursuit of a law degree, he earned a B.A. in Political Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Bryce is a University of Mary Hardin-Baylor alumni. While he was there, he found out about YCT and quickly got involved. He helped found the YCT chapter on the campus and became the executive director for the chapter. He currently works as a public school math teacher. His main goal with YCT is to advance conservative values and to educate others on them.

Kevin Crusius has been involved in YCT since 2018. He served as the Campus Events Coordinator and Vice Chair of YCT at Trinity University before graduating in 2021. Since graduating, he has remained involved on the State Board as the Formal Content Creator, Vice Chair of Political Affairs, and now serves as the Vice Chair of Special Projects. His primary goal is to develop programming for YCT's annual convention, with the intent of bringing together YCT students from across the state. He is passionate about creating spaces on campus for conservatism to thrive. He now works as a software engineer and lives in Austin with his wife and puppy. When not working, he is probably playing pickleball.
Kenzie Gardner grew up in Florida and Missouri, but now gets to call Texas her home. She is majoring in Animal Science, Animal Production with a minor in Spanish. She is proud to be the Chapter Chair for Texas Tech and hopes to spread the conservative message through leadership, activism, and education.
Juan Almengor is a Colombian who immigrated to the United States at the age of three, and was raised in Pearland, TX in a conservative Christian household, and has been raised to not take his freedom and rights for granted. In 2013 He became a United States Citizen. Juan is currently in his Senior year at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Majoring in both Economics and Business Computer Information Systems with a goal to attend law school. As the State Secretary, He aims to expand the conservative wave and to educate on current political issues and policies. Juan was the former Communications Director and Chapter Chairman for the UMHB chapter and Parliamentarian for the State Board.
William Travis is the Operations Director for the Young Conservatives of Texas. Graduating in May 2024, he is studying Business Computer Information System. Seeking to support conservative values, he is a member of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor chapter of YCT where he eventually served as Executive Director then as Vice-Chairman. In addition to his involvement with YCT William has been involved in Student Government Association most recently as the Senior Class Vice-President and at his local church where he is a member of the worship team and a small group leader in the youth group.
Luke Posegate is a Junior studying Economics with a concentration in Legal Studies at the University of Dallas. Luke was a co-founder of the UD Young Conservatives of Texas chapter and serves as its second chairman. He is currently a policy research intern with the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
In the summer of 2022, Luke interned with the Heritage Foundation as a member of the Young Leaders Program. Today he is an economics intern at the Texas Public Policy Foundation and the politics editor for the Crusader Standard, the conservative newspaper at UD. Luke also serves on the executive board for the Pre-Law Society and as a class senator in Student Government. Luke hopes to energize the conservative student body at the University of Dallas to increase their participation in DFW politics and to encourage discussions on the importance of faith in politics.
